Introduction to Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Instructor: Dr. Song, Jeong Hwa (PhD, KMD)

Dr. Jeong Hwa Song created a new method for facial rejuvenation and face lifting in 1999, she is currently President of Korean Facial Rejuvenation Association and is specialized in facial rejuvenation and facial lifting through acupuncture.

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture (Facial Acupuncture for Charm and Elegance, FACE) is a Korean style acupuncture treatment developed through continuous experiments.

The special features of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture are, first of all, it is a painless, non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process, and it also helps to improve muscle tone and dermal contraction especially in the face and neck. Healthy facial coloring can be restored and Habitual expressions resulting from stress are transformed, resulting in a remarkably younger, calmer, and less worn-looking face.

The method has been developed and used since 1999.  It has been introduced to China, USA, Europe (France, Greece, Italy) and Taiwan through numerous lectures by Dr. Song K.M.D.. However, it is very important to know its exact effects and how to maximize the desirable results. To convince the patients of its sure effects, it may be a good approach to apply the FACE method to only a half of face first time and let them decide by themselves whether they feel the difference, and let them come back afterwards. The FACE method is also effective for Bell’s palsy and its related symptoms too.
